My family started raising club lambs over 25 years ago. I started
out with two ewes and one ram of my own in 1995. As time went on, I gained a passion for raising quality club lambs. In my later show career, I really enjoyed helping beginners, especially my younger sister. We continued to mix and match genetics, staying current with the latest "winning" trends. When I went off to college, my dad and sister took over. In 2009, I came back to manage the flock and continued to carry on the family tradition.
I now have three kids of my own Brady, Peyton, and Blakeley. Brady and Peyton show lambs, swine, and beef; Blakeley is counting down the years until she is old enough. Keeps life interesting to say the least. With the help of my three kids and loving wife, we lamb out 40 ewe and another 40 recip ewes on top of those as part of our flush program.
The Club lamb industry has changed so much over the years. Here at Dona Livestock we strive to produce lambs with power, structural correctness, and bone and eye appeal. As a producer, I feel a responsibility to assist you in all aspects of showing lambs. I believe in offering a package beyond the lambs you select.
